Bbo Buildup And Nitrous

Hey Everybody, Im A Major Car Nut And A Newbie To Oldsmobiles, I Have A Question , How Well Do 455's Handle 125 Shot Of Nitrous? I Noticed Nobody Really Uses Nitrous On Big Block Oldsmobiles. Are They Prone To Head Gasket Failure Or Rod Bearing Failure Or? Any Information Would Be Greatly Appreciated.
Thanks

Welcome to our site. I truly couldn't say from personal experience but from general knowledge I really don't think people do it because they don't need much of it. I have seen a twin turbo BBO and a couple of blown ones too so I think they can handle the cylinder head pressure. As far as bearing failure goes, don't know at all. You might ask this over at Realoldspower.com too. They have quite a few real serious racers and gearheads over there. Not to say the people here don't know their stuff because the do. Just a little bit different make-up over there, that's all. Well, good luck and again, welcome.
