Badger pistons

Has anyone had any experience with Badger hypereutectic pistons for Olds 455 engines?

I have used Badger pistons, but was not aware that they made a "hyper" version for Olds.

I personally have never gone with the most expensive piston manufacturer, TRW has sufficed and I have yet to ever burn one/make a hole. Some of the more expensive brands are not that much lighter than the mundane brands. For wieght reduction I just asked my shop to remove as much material as possible of the pistons/rods then have them cut down the crank shaft weights while in the balancing process. Most of these Olds motors will make double there factory h.p. with little effort and without sacrificing reliability. P.S. I would have your shop use every trick possible to strengthen your rods/crank the (weekest part of the olds motor) the Block is the strongest of any G.M. Block ever made--they put more nickel in the casting than any of other product lines. Hope this tidbit helps in your piston decision.

Do a site search for "myth" and see what you come up with.
