'68 400 oil fill tube--needed?

I was told that on A/C cars, the '68 442 had a bent oil fill tube. Is this correct?

If so

a) anyone have a pic of this

and

b) does anyone have one? I'll need one asap if you do.

That is correct. On the AC cars the air cleaner snorkel swings farther toward the front of the car and would hit a tube that wasn't angled also.

How about that. Thanks Kurt.

And it looks like there will be spacing issues if I don't have one. Great.

Just placed a post in the WTB section. Anyone who has one, please PM me.

The 307 Olds motors used in the 1980s-vintage Caddy Fleetwoods also have an angled oil fill tube. I don't know if it's exactly the same as the 1968 part, but it sure looks similar. These are likely to be much more common in wrecking yards. You may even find the part still available at a Caddy dealer.

Thanks Joe. I actually found one. A guy I've been dealing with in Ohio (who seems to have EVERYTHING for Olds') had one. Should be on it's way to me early next week.
