Smile 455 engine build

I have a 72 455 with GA heads that i'm planning on building. I'm going to use the stock heads going to do a valve job on them no porting at this time. planning on boring 30 over and using L2323 forged pistons on stock recondition rods, stock crank ,will balance the assembly put a eb proformance manifold with QJet carb (750 or 850?). I'm looking for some help on a cam, would like some lump in the cam so what would be my best bet. Looking at rear gears between 3:55 to 3:90

Auto tranny
67 cutlass wagon
Header?
stall convertor?
Roller rockers or stock?

Header? I recommend them if possible, but your call
stall convertor? Again your call, depending on the size of the cam
Roller rockers or stock? What do you want to do?

Charlie
My quick answer would be an Erson TQ40, easy on the valvetrain, some noise and good drivability, or I can do a custom grind for you. But more importantly imo you need to decide the use of the car, daily driver, weekend cruiser etc and what's the budget, and what do you want, just as important what don't you want, then go from there.
