Alternator brackets

I've got some of the drivers side for AC cars. But I thought that small block and big block alternator brackets were the same, so if you have a set for a small block you might try them first. If you still need a set send me your address in a private message and I'll get a set in a box and shipping costs for you. John

That's correct up until the 307, at which time the brackets are SBO-only. Since the car is an 84, I assume that those are the brackets he has.

Hmm...
Every Olds I've had, has the alternator on the driver's side.

It appears that you've never owned an Olds without A/C. The non-air cars use a passenger-side alt bracket - at least, prior to the 307.

alternator bracket

Sorry, I don't have a non-AC available. Your best bet may be to watch ebay as they do come along every once in a while. There's one listed at an ebay store, auction number 360029221942 If you wait for a private party to auction one you may get it a little cheaper, but these are less common than the AC equipped cars. You can also post a parts wanted ad at other Olds web sites, such as 442.com and oldspower.com There's also realoldspower.com but sometimes its hard to get your profile setup there so you can post ads. I have 1 extra setup, not real keen on parting with it.
It works on both BBO and SBO.
Say, $55 & $9.00 for shipping (US).
Paypal.
