I do them from all over the country, and we have the most stock and speed part selection in the country for the 49-64 olds engines
All work done in house and,
All rebuilds stock or modified are dyno tested before delivery

What city in L.A. area?

Used to do business alot with Orange Engine and Parts which are located in city of Orange. They always did a good job.

A lot of rebuild shops here in Bellflower. Search on google "Machine Shop LA CA" for someone in your area I believe Amigos Auto Parts has a machine shop?

I have built 394s but it's been a while; newer Olds engines mostly. I use Kells Automotive in Las Vegas who does nice work, used to do John Force's work for years. One of your issues will be getting a shop who does excellent work not tractor quality work, and then another issue is getting 700 lb. to the shop.

Here's a great place. "Ellis Piston Ring Sales, Inc." K.W. Lazarus is the owner. It's a huge place and the guy is the third generation to have the shop, he's in his late 50s. The machining they do there is incredible. Just looking at the engines on the floor, from huge crane engines to race engines. 147 N. Market Street, Shreveport, Louisiana. I had some work done there, and the guy is great. No youngsters in this place, all guys w/ plenty of experience. Check it out. Not many places like this left anymore.

U do mean Louisiana, no?
