If you have a 72 H/O and are missing the original engine, I've got it. Vin on pad # 32R179838. PM me if interested

No, you don't. The "R" in the third position of the VIN derivative indicates this motor came from a car built in the Arlington, TX assembly plant. All 1972 H/Os were built in Lansing.

Good, cause it's going in the machine shop to become a new heart for my 72 442! Guy I bought a couple motors from years ago told me it came out of his hurst. Has GA heads, notched covers, ralley pack sending unit etc. Must be out of a " U" code 442?

Could have come from a Cutlass, 442, Vista, any Olds A-body that year. Yes, whatever the body style it would have been a U-code car.

Every Olds engine is a 442, W-30 or a H/O engine according to sellers on the internet.
