1970 442 455 Hot Air choke
1970 442 455 Hot Air choke
Original hot air choke photos needed.
Clean air pipes are the ones I really need routing for, I think I have a w-30 air cleaner and hood if that helps the overall troubleshoot.
Restoring my 1970 442 to as original as my wallet can handle and I am trying to replace the carb. It had a Buick carb and it now has a 7040251. I know its not a perfect numbers matching carb but its the best I could do. The old hot air choke parts are gone and the intake manifold just had a plug/cover plate. I have replace all of the parts but I cannot figure out how the hot air pipes and clean air pipes are supposed to run on the original. Can someone please provide photos of how it is supposed to look? Please I have been digging through the service manual with no luck.
If you have read this far I could also really use some pictures of the TCS solenoid and its vacuum line configuration. Thanks!

Do you have the correct tee fitting at the back of the carb air horn? The choke fresh air line connects as shown. The TCS vent line connects to the side port. This fitting pulls lose easily and is frequently lost or missing, especially on frankencarbs. It was a 1970-only item.
