1969 442 Engine Bracket Location

Hey all,

Hoping to tap into your knowledge or possibly a shop manual if someone has one on this. I have a bracket that came off the engine on a '69 442 that was originally an A/C car. I can't figure out where this little guy goes (in picture). Any help would be much appreciated!

Correct. More importantly, don't forget the spacer that goes between this bracket and the side of the block, or you'll be one of the long line of folks who start a thread about belt misalignment problems.

Thus the beauty of having the assembly manual illustrations.

We used to do this all the time by guesswork and consulting friends and unmolested cars.

We now have this info a click or 3 away, so easy to access... go ahead, access it!
