1967 UHV Eng'g Dwg - 24x36 & 11x17
Finally got a chance to make a copy of the 24x26" engineering drawing of the 1967? UHV Box and what color wires go where. Don't suppose anyone needs one? There's an 11x17 dwg also. Hoping to get the CAD guy to redraw the 24x36 and get it into pdf or similar format for electronic sharing.

Is there anyone here who can take paper copy, old and yellowed, and make it into an electronic version such as pdf that we can share readily? I was able to make readable photocopies, and asked the CAD guy at work if he can redraw it from scratch... he says he'd like a physical sample of the voodoo box to measure from in order to make the dwg accurate [not a problem, I have several]. I am hopping he can make a new suitable imitation of the dwg, but of course duplicating hand drawn items and hand lettered text will probably lead to some minor discrepancies. Maybe I am being too detail oriented.
So, anyone got a method to get these into computer form?

Most Staples locations have a 24"-36" scanner. I have engineering plans scanned all the time. They charge a couple bucks a sheet. I'm pretty sure you can ask them to scan it at a higher resolution also.
There is also civil sitework software out there (and other types I'm sure as well) than allows you to scan a drawing directly into a CAD format.
