Hello All... I have an original 66 Tri-Carb set up and am looking for the glass bowl that goes with it. I have everything else with the exception of the air filters, which are impossible to find. I know there was a problem with the bowls breaking and they just put filters back in their place, but I would like to put it back as original as I can. Any help or information is greatly appreciated. Thank you

 

If you join Wild About Cars (free) I think they have the 6 page Olds service bulletin from Feb. 66 on Tri-Carbs. I suspect the glass bowl filter and all its fittings caused some leaks and engine fires back In the day.

 

Thanks yes you are correct. We are restoring this car for my mom for my parents 40th anniversary. Same kind of car my dad drove in 1971 when they first met. He said they had a problem back then and it would be difficult to find it but I am gonna try anyways.

 

Contact Mike at "thegoodoldsdays.com" he reproduces the correct fuel bowl/filter assembly. the 3 individual air filter foam and screens are available as well.
