I recently acquired a 1966 425 and TH400 set. The goal is to stuff this into my 1960 Super 88 four door sedan. The frame on the 88 is an X frame with a fairly small hole for the driveline to go through. I know I will need to make custom engine/transmission mounts, but my real question is:

Will the overall length of the 425 and TH400 fit into the engine compartment and transmission bay, without be too long and the tail of the tranny hitting the X frame?
