04B plus 71-76 style BB Brackets w/AC

I have a 1970 Convertible that I am restoring to "70" style using 73 block. I have the brackets from the 73 engine donor car. The engine is done, but the brackets are NOT working.

As you can see the alternator bracket does not seem to be compatible with the 04B Edelbrock manifold. There is a hole for a driver side bracket, but the 71 and later version I have does not seem to work.

Does anyone with the 04B use the driver side bracket? Which bracket do you use? The later 60's-70 version, or the 71 and later version?

I also see there is a 307 driver side bracket which may work.

All these style seem to be independent of the Power Steering pump bracket correct?

Suggestions? Find a 70 style bracket pair? If so I would need the head to PS bracket brace as well correct?

Or should I go to the yard and get the 307 style bracket?

lastly, I read there are TWO spacers I need. I think I have one, between the timer cover and main PS bracket, but I think there is another one on the side bracket to secondary PS bracket? What does that look like? how big? what length?

Fabricate a spacer. You may need to slightly slot the hole in the bracket for bolt clearance.
