First Hi eveyone! My name is Chris and i have just purchased a 2000 Alero GLS! I am really likeing the car.

But I have but one problem with it. The previous owner lost the Key Fob to the Car. And I have a left over Fob from my last Car, which was a GM car.

My question is, is it possible to program that Key Fob to my Alero? And how would I go about doing that without going to a dealer?

I just need the steps and know how and I will be good. I would rather not be charged an Arm and a Leg from a dealer to do this for me.

I don't think a dealer will charge you for that. Ask over on Aleromod.com. I know guys over there know how to program the Fob.
