1969 442 convertible looking for outlet to purchase drivers side door handle relay. This is the Supreme, so the door panel has a base plate with an armrest over it. Door handle fits over fluted end of relay. The fluted end is longer to make up for base plate thickness. I need to find a parts house that has the correct relays for my car. Handle won't stay on, can't place C clip on. Fluted area not long enough. Anyone run into this before?

 

I probably have one of the longer fluted pieces, give me a day or two to get pix & price assuming no one else has one quicker?

 

??? I thought relays were an electrical part, not a mechanical door part. What are you trying to describe - the door handle spline?

 

Relay rod assembly he means. Inside door handle mechanism thingie in my terms...
