SSIV Wheels On An A-Body?

Does anyone have any pics of a A body (preferably 70-72 convertible) where someone has installed the B body Super Stock wheels?

It can't be done unless you use an adapter. A-body uses 5 x 4-3/4" bolt circle, the B car uses 5x5.

Your other option is to find a set of Motor Wheel "Exiter" Polycast wheels, which were the inspiration for the SSIV styling and produced in 5 x 4-3/4 bolt circle.

The Exiter uses no trim ring and has a center tower in place of the SSIV chrome diecast bolt-on ornament, but I've found that snap-in center caps for early-80s Ciera SSIII wheels are a perfect fit in the Exiter tower. Should you not want the squared-off 80s Rocket, repro SSI center cap Rockets fit perfectly in the recess of these center caps.

That's how I installed them on my 74 Hurst.

I've often wished I'd bought all ten of those NOS Exiters at Fall Carlisle 2004, but I was on that damn Bravada and did not have room for them.
