Saffron, Fawn and code 8 top, originally from Pennsylvania
Saffron, Fawn and code 8 top. It's an automatic with 3:08 limited slip. It's a nice all original car except for the rockers being repainted.
Thanks for the introduction and pictures. Classy looking car. Have many smiles per gallon. Some very good folks on the forum willing to share help when in need, share like mined conversation. Welcome

NY442 - From one '67 4-4-2 owner to another, that's a gorgeous car! Congratulations on your purchase and I hope you get many years of enjoyment out of it. Please post some more pics of it, engine bay, interior, etc., when you have time. There are several '67 4-4-2 owners on the forum with a wealth of knowledge.
Thank you all for the fantastic welcome. The biggest thing to stand out about the classic car hobby over the years is the good people. From cars shows, dragstrips and even when I've stopped during a Sunday drive.
I'll certainly post pictures and would appreciate help. This is my third 442 that I've had, the others were a 1965 which I sold 24 years ago and miss terribly and a 1968 that was a fine car too. I always was fond of the 1967 year since reading an article in Car Craft covering the NEW, 1967 W30 equipped 442. They tested the Olds at U.S.30 Dragway in York Pennsylvania. It was fast, I recall 13.90's for that car.
Thanks again for the welcome and if I can reciprocate in helping in any way, I'd be more than happy too. I'll start taking pictures.

Taken 2 weeks ago, just after swapping out incorrect SS1s for the redlines and correct wires.
Gregg, I love the wires because I enjoy the chrome/polished stainless look. Plus, it seems conservative for a Detroit performance car and I like that too. Just my take, nice color combination and great looking Olds.
Much appreciated - I’m with you on the understated look, although the all-chrome (correct) SS1s look great. Since mine was optioned with the wires, I figured I’d put it back that way while also losing the ‘70-‘72 SS1s at the same time.
ut beautiful after the polishing and cleaning.
Great looking 442! I also just acquired a '67 442... I'm admiring your console. Mine has been painted, would like any suggestions as to where I could find a replacement. I would also like to replace the dash and gauges with modern "original looking" gauges.
Triple saffron cars with a red stripe? I wonder how many were made?
Now that you mention it, A specific paint change just for a top color is pretty interesting.
