Rally gauge difference?

Are the Rally Pac gauge faces different for the years 68-72? I see some with one black circle and some with two black circles in the middle. I've even seen some cars with one circle on the gauges and two on the tic toc tac. Does anyone know which faces are for a 70?

68-69 are completely different from 70-72. Not only are the faces different (70-72 have the silver/black faces), but the housings are different and not interchangeable.

Thanks for the info Joe. Does the fuel/oil/temp rally gauge have 2 black circles in the middle or 1 for a 1970 442? Cause I have come across both.

My repro set has the 2 black rings, if this means anything. Might the originals be single??

I guess I'm confused by the term "rings".

Here's 68-69:

Here's 70-72:

Note also the differences in the mounting tabs.

I see this original looking one around for 70-72 also. Notice the one black ring around the clock verses the two in Joe's picture. I thought maybe these were for a specific year between 70-72. I just wanted to make sure I get the right ones for a 70.

Wow! I never noticed that before. Now I'll have to go and dig out all my rally pac gauges and compare them.

"all my rally pac gauges"???

Joe, are you hoarding Rallye Gauges? There are those of us trying to get our grubby little hands on them.

I'm guessing you'll find the "two ring" with the clock, and the "one ring" without the clock.

All tic-toc-tacs got the clock (hence the term tic-toc-tac).

Uh, yeah...

Got a box full in the barn. Two 66 sidewinder tachs, one 67 rally pac ("rallye" was only used on the Rallye 350), and a few sets of 68-69 and 70-72 gauges.

Well, actually, most are already targeted at specific cars that I have. No, I don't have a 67 right now, but eventually I will. The plan is at least one each, 64-72.
