Radiator position...

Hi everybody, how can you explain that the radiator is leaning toward the engine like in the first picture, shouldn't be more like second picture ?
I know it's not the original radiator, and top plate look stock. Any picture of a stock rad with No AC. No shroud .. for a 1971

Thanks

Looks like you have the wrong top plate. Year? Model?

The top one is a non-A/C car so the top plate different. There was never a shroud around the fan like on the A/C equipped cars. I suspect the radiator is tilted for better airflow closer to the fan.
