Opg

Has anyone used OPG? I would appreciate any comments you might have.

I need a steering box coupler for my car which is manual steering and the local parts source don't have the manual steering one. OPG and Year One do and Supercars doesn't list one in their catalogue, Supercars just has the power steering coupler and the spline won't fit my car.

Has anyone got one from anyone else?

Thanks

What's the difference in the splines?

If Lares doesn't list one ($30.00), then Dorman should ($75.00).

first prob is were in canada, i need parts too and after talking to parts guys here i might just order from one company to save shipping and customs. or ebay as for opg ive read their catalog front to back, i guess if they say its in stock what could go wrong. fusiks has a better rep i think, but theres stories about them too

I'm pretty sure the same manufacturers supply your auto parts stores as supply ours.

Go look up the numbers of rag joints for your cars through Dorman, Lares (manufacturers), and RockAuto (retailer), then go to your local CT or other big chain and have them look up the part numbers you've obtained. They should be able to get them even if their computers don't show the interchange.

I've used OPGI before, got what I ordered pretty quick and it was quality stuff. So, I have no complaints.

I use OPGI and Yearone. Both are great and have quality items.
Replacement parts are rockauto and performance parts are summit.

Those are my major companies.

rag joint

Try your local parts store for just the rebuild kit. Most parts stores still have those and they are easy to rebuild plus a lot cheaper. Just a thought, Dave E

Out of all the suppliers I have faith in Fusick and that is about it.
I recently had my car repainted and used a lot of suppliers to purchase things like things like
New door handles .Sent back ..No Quality actuator pin has to be modified...
New door latches .Sent back no quality still wrestling with that.Has to be modified
New Hinges.Door Pin location way off.Sent back..
All my weatherstripping.Ordered from Steel .delivered by PUI.
I roll up the windows and here comes the felts.
I was told to send pictures .I have no response.
Doesnt seem like anyone cares.
Seems like a trend.
Terrible customers service.

LOL.....I order a hood insulation kit from Supercars Unlimited at the begining of April and it just got delivered. I truly had forgotten I had ordered it.

Thumbs down

OPG and Year One have the highest prices and shipping costs, along with lousy customer service.

Why anyone would buy from them is beyond me.
