Considering replacing original 442 Grille Bar and emblem due to pitting. (keeping the original for the day that I could afford to have it rechromed?)

Some are $125.00 (year one) and some are $85.00 (Parts Place). Has anyone used either? I find it difficult to believe that there are two different producers of a somewhat limited part, so I hate to pay $40.00 extra for the exact same part.

On other hand, I don't want to throw $85.00 out the window for something that was inferior to a better part.

Any experience or exposure with either of the parts?

 

I bought mine from Fussic in CT. Can't remember what I paid. I think it was under $100. Nice quality.
