Fender wells

Is it possible for a 1967 442 to have black plastic fender wells as opposed to red?

Black steel is most common for '67 Cutlasses

I have rarely seen plastic in a '67, maybe mostly 442's?

Only a W30 would get RED anything liner-wise. I think.

I would like to know more about this also. The only place I ever seen black plastic in 67 was a 4 door. I had an original 67 442 and it had metal but I can't say that is the same for all 442s

IIRC the '67 black plastic inner fenders were a Vista Cruiser "thing"

The reason I ask is because there is a 1967 442 for sale in California and the ad states black plastic fender wells. Didn't even know Oldsmobile made them in 67.

Well I parted a '67 many moons ago.
It was not a Vista
Probably a 4-dr
It had black plastic
I recall thinking "hmmmm that's odd" then discarded them.

Now, I use the "last time seen" rule to help decide whether to toss or keep something.
