Buyer Beware Game

Here's a link to a 1972 W-30 on eBay for healthy money.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Oldsmobile-4...US_Cars_Trucks

How many issues do you see wrong with this car? There are several. Enjoy and have fun! I did send a note to the seller asking why it has A/C. So I'll start with that one.

Regards,
Mike

This car has been discussed before. The W-29 equipped cars do not use chrome rocker panels and a/c was not available on an X code car. This car has been re bodied.

I just found the thread oldsdave and I agree 100% with your thought on this one. I already been called an idiot and providing misinformation on FB on this car. LOL

Edit:
Here is the link for the current thread on this car:

What was the W-30/AC deal for 1972? You could get AC in earlier, more powerful years, so what is it about the '72 that made it different in this regard?

It's in the Oldsmobile, 442, W30 & Hurst Olds Fan Club Forum on FB.

A lot of misinformation in that post.

However, an automatic wasn't standard on the 4-4-2.

For what it's worth, it has the wrong rocket emblem (1971) on the stoneshield between the grills.
