Broadcast Sheets

It seems my 65 442 was built in Fremont and they used broadcast sheets instead of the usual codes on the firewall tags. Does anyone know if there's a way to find a broadcast sheet, or get a duplicate made, or is it just a pipe-dream .

Would a broadcast sheet have anything on it that a layman could understand?

I believe that since you are in Canada, you can get a list of the options that your car was built with (use the Search function).

Everyone else is SOL.

If the car was originally sold in Canada, that is correct.

Okay, let's clarify here. Without going into the Broadcast card/build sheet thing, you are asking about documentation for your car.
There is no way to obtain the above documents if you don't have them already.

If the car was made in or originally sold new Canada, GM of Canada will (for a fee) provide the dealer invoice information on the car. This will tell you what options came with it.

Thanks for the info. The car was sold in the USA and imported to Canada I believe in the eighties. Registration says "Foreign Import".
Guess I'm SOL.

I had the one for the f-85 I wrecked, but not this one. The seats have all been out and redone with new springs and stuffing, the whole nine yards. This car is so far removed from originality, it isn't even funny. I doubt it came factory with a Chevy 12 bolt. I know it didn't come with a T400 or 455. Hmmmm.....I really wish I didn't sell my 71 442 with 60k on it for $800 in 1990. I'd love to fix that one up now. Didn't have a single dent, no bondo, just a seized motor from sitting in the fellow's garage for years.
Sorry, I digress....
