Was the 442 the only model that Oldsmobile used the 400 in? Is the setup to secure the battery in the trunk available in reproduction? Are the W30 engine hoses available in reproduction? Were all W30's equipped with air shocks from the factory?

For the 1967 model year, the E-block 400 was also factory available in the Cutlass Supreme with the Turnpike Cruiser option, in the Vista Cruiser, and in certain police packages for A-body cars.

No, it was optional, and available on all Olds A-body models.

Not the wagons in '67. (Unless Police, of course).

You are correct, Kurt. Sorry. I was confusing 1967 and 1968 model years.

At one time Curt Anderson had repro parts to put the battery in the trunk. I have some NOS parts for it.

Hello Tom,
Based on your other thread, the battery can NOT be located in the proper place (on the upper trunk shelf) on a convertible, unless you never want to put the top down.
