1966 blower motor switch

Blower motor switch on my '66 442 would work in low and high and never shut off. Decided to take it apart (since it's in my nature to take stuff apart) cleaned it out and no dice, still no mid motor selection and constantly runs. The switch has a hard cardboard/particle board looking consistency and is deteriorating to the point that I can't take it apart and rebuild it anymore without it just falling apart in my hands. It's a 3 connector switch with a 3 wire in 1 connector, 1 orange wire and 1 red wire.
I've looked all over for just the switch and can't find it anywhere. Just wondering if anybody has come across one or knows where one is. Thanks in advance.

Sorry, it's for AC. Didn't know there was a difference but I do now.

switch

The switch will not turn off the fan motor on a A/C car of those years. The slide lever on the bottom of the heater a/c dash uint is what turns the fan off. You will see it says OFF Try that. Thats what works on my 67 442 conv. Friskyjake

^^^ What he said. Your fan switch does not have an "OFF" position.
