1965 442 Finally Roadworthy...Sort of !!

After 2 1/2 years this thing is finally at a point where I can put a key in the ignition, spark it up, and go for a drive. Around the block was good enough for today.
Now time to work some of the bugs out of it and see if I like driving it or want to kick it down the road .
That's my favorite time. If I like it, I keep it. If not, it frees up a spot. Either way it's a happy outcome....in theory.

Thanks to all you guys that gave me advice thus far.

It came with this hood. The two units just cleared with tiny little air filters. All that stuff went to the guy who bought the Offy 360 from me. Now it's simple. Undercarbed, for sure, but such is life.

Now there's no more excuses - you have to bring it by the shop. You can help me unpack my new MIG...

Nice work Dave.

Recognize the rear bumper? It's the one from the blue coupe.

Still needs a lot, but so much better than it was. When I'm done I figure it'll be ready for a body restoration, but with almost everything else rebuilt. Now I'm trying to get all the little things working, figure out why some wires are dangling, the usual tragedies that accompany my ongoing projects.
By the time I get it ready for sale, I'll have missed the summer opportunity. If that happens it can maybe go to the island until next year.
