1965 442 core support
Can someone please tell me if the core support is the same on a 330cid equipped cutlass as that of a 442 of the same year....1965

hey gary, 65 core supports are all the same,(A body), 4 door, two door, vert, even wagon i believe, may find a v6 car was a little diff, maybe,

So there was no change in core support or even the radiator when they put a big block in?

just the number of cores as far as i know, the big block is the same length as a 330 so it fits right in. 64 is different

The 1965 Oldsmobile parts book shows part number 389063 for the support assembly complete for all 1965 V-8 F-85 cars. Engine size made no difference. The only difference for the 1965 F-85 cars was for the V-6 engines.

65 V6 core support has a bottom cross brace like a 64.

Number of ROWs in the radiator make no difference.
