New rims

Hello guys and gals, does anyone know where one could find nice rims for our cars? I have been looking online and nothing really interests me. Just wondering if some one came across an odd place to find rims. Thanks

If you're going for the classic look I went with some SSI rallye repros from coker.

Now is it possible to use bigger sized rims on our cars? Some nice rims, but they mostly come in 17's

Yes, you have a very wide variety of wheel and tire choices for your car.

If you're looking for "new" SS1's or SS2's, I'm not really sure. I've seen the Coker rims, I think they're pretty cool.

If you're looking for original style rims, I'd put a thread up on the "Parts Wanted" forum on this site. There's lots of folks who wander this site with LOTS of parts available. List up what you'd like, get a set and restore them/have them restored.

Good luck with your search.

Not sure if I want the stock rims or get new ones. I like the look of the old ones, but with a new rebuild it may be nice to have a different look to the rims. I would still keep the stock ones and have them painted the same as the car

I've seen stock and custom rims (like Mr. Nick's) that look really nice. All a matter of personal taste, but really anything over 18", most of the time, doesn't look right IMHO.

Summit also carries an assortment of rims, both stock and custom for our cars.

Your car looks great. May I ask why you chose to run a 27.5" tall tire on the front & a 27.0" tall tire on the rear?. That is unusual to have a shorter tire on the back.

Hey Kyle.... I'm running the old style cragar ss 15x7 deep dish (offset) rear 14x7 front I still get a lot of compliments on them at the cruise nights I have pics up . They shake over 90mph bcuz I have the old slotted style but my car wont do 90mph lol . Do you have pics of your 77 on the site I would like to see them .

Local tire shop owner actually picked out the tire and wheel sizes. Initially I was going to use 15x7s all around and he convinced me on the 15x8s for the rear. As far as the 1/2 in difference in tire sizes, he said it wasn't going to be noticeable. And if I didn't like how it sat, then I could choose another. Turns out that I love the way the car looks and handles.

You should ask this in the Engine section, not in a post about New Rims in the Wheels and Tire Section.
