65 Cutlass 245/60 r15

Hi,

Looking about upgrading to a 15x7 and would like to put 245/60 r 15's all around I imagine they will fit in the rear without issues, but anyone run them in the front and what backspacing?

Regards,

They’ll work just fine. Put 15x8 with 4.5” BS wrapped with 245/60-15 all the way around on m y ‘65. I have coil overs on front and everything clears fine, I only get rubbing on outer upper edge when wheels are straight when I go over any good dips in the road. An extra .25” less BS from 15x7 would prevent it. Hits at the apex near the upper inner fender bolt.
