engine paint

Where do you buy the correct engine paint for a 55 324 engine?

Fusicks might carry it. You would be better off buying a POR 15 product to paint your engine, they only carry one "factory correct" Oldsmobile color; however, the paint quality is superior to any other paint. If you buy a $10 can of "factory correct" Oldsmobile spray paint it will just burn off 5 minutes after starting your engine the first time.

Go to your local auto paint store. I have one in my area and they can order just about anything they don't have. The engine paints they have on hand, however, are limited in color. Some of the best (and most expensive) engine paints are made by POR15 - I've seen them in aluminum, red, black (called "Black Velvet" - a flat black, used it on my radiator, but needed thinning there). I don't remember seeing green, but wasn't interested in that color at the time.
