Stopping wind noise
My ‘55 two door hardtop makes so much wind noise driving around town or on the highway, it’s hard to have a conversation. Most of the weatherstripping is in bad condition. Some is as hard as nails while other pieces are falling off. It’s clear that they need to be replaced. I was shopping on Fusick last night and was shocked to see the prices. Window vent rubber is in the $170 range. Window pieces can be over $200. In my neck of the woods, that’s a lot of money. Are there other places out there that sell a good product at a lower price?

Dave, try these guys. It was a few years ago, but I bought the front door weatherstripping for my '56 from them for under $40. I did have to go to Fusick for the rear doors.

Take a look here. I’ve used their stuff and the quality has been good.

Fusick seems to get all of its rubber from Steele Rubber Products.
It is usually cheaper to get it straight from them.

I forgot about Precision Replacement Parts. They have the door seals at a pretty good price: https://www.prp.com
