Very nice collection of memorabilia! That radio fixit tag? See the phone number - back in the days when lines had names and numbers? Wonder who had Jenny867 5309?

That is way cool. I thnk the most significant thing is that it probably tells you the first owner of the car and the area they lived in. It may not be too probably they are still living but they might have family still in the area that would know about your car.

That's about 17 miles from my house. They were downtown. I think they closed a few years ago. I actually had them repair a tach for my first 442 when I was about 17.

very cool stuff. i love finding stuff like that. i also add things like that in strange places on cars that i sell. most of the time i will place a picture of me and my wife with our address and number, and date on the back. i place them under the back seat most of the time.

Nice!

Most of the International single axles here have a Hydra-matic tranny. Never seen one in a car

i have a bill of sale from e.r. garrett in louisville ky, selling the car to gaither garrett in1970, in winchester ky. iam assuming it is his son. gaither garret, sold the car to the man i bought it from in 1998. the tag i found on the radio dated in 1963,and showing only 3474 miles on the car, i am also assuming e.r. garrett is the original owner. the car also has a AAA sticker from louisville in the back window,a chevy tissue dispenser under the dash and an old fashion swinging tray under the dash. i found a 1962 quater and a 1964 penny under the back seat. the rear seat was covered with a dealer installed seat cover.other than 1 small spot where something soaked thru, the seat is spotless.
