bumpers

Need different bumpers. Have access to '56 bumpers. Will they work on a '55. (Yeah, I know it is not original.)

The back might but I doubt the front would. Besides, it looks completely different. Somebody else on here will know for sure.

I dont think so ,you should hook me up with them 56 bumpers LOL(if they are nice ).Ill have my mom pick them up shes in centerville.

The rear will work, but as was mentioned before it won't look original but then again it would look better than no bumper at all and most people couldn't tell the difference if you asked.I don't think the front would swap, to much difference in the sheet metal......Tedd

Picked up the '56 bumpers today. Looks like they may fit. Will try them on when I get the rusted bolts out of the brackets.
If I can't use them, I'll let you know. They are in good shape; will need to be rechromed.
