1964 JetAway throttle control switch

Ok, since I have yet to solve my 200R4 TV cable issue (since I want to keep my factory throttle linkage) I figure I would just have my stock 2spd JetAway rebuilt and reinstalled. The issue (one of may) is that I believe I don't have the correct throttle control switch. The one attached to my manifold has about a 3" bar coming out of it with a small 90 degree end on it. I'm finding in my service manual that it should look like a rubber shifter boot towards the base and at the end of the bar is a long oval loop.

Can anyone add any suggestions or tips? Also, am I crazy to not keep the 200R4 and spend the $600+ on getting a new pedal, cable, linkage, TVMadeEz system?

Thanks guys
Thomas
