Torque converter recommendation- '68 442 stock
Hi guys- I'm a bit clueless on torque converters. I have a stock rebuild '67 400 with compacts 42-220-4 cam (600-4800 rpm) with quadratet, 3.08 gears and stock manifolds. This is a street driven, never raced, pushed every now and then car. Transmission is ready to go in...just need to order a torque converter. Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks

Go to Jegs dot com and look at their TCI, Hughes, B&M TCs. There is a chart in the TCI area to help select. I tried to post it but dont have time now to play that game with this site nor my POS home computer. There is also a link at the top "torque converter tech".
I think youll be happy with the TCIs Street Rodder.
Just make sure its for Olds as the flywheel mounts are unique, it aint a Chevy.
