T-5 swap

Well getting ready to yank my Muncie close Ratio for a rebuilt Mustang T-5.
I am rebuilding it with the toughest gears, bearing supports and parts I can find to see if it will hold up (I hope).
Has anyone else put a T-5 behind a 455?
If so I would like to hear about the experience.

Not for long!

Also, do you need to change the Ford input shaft to GM?

minor trimming on the input shaft along with a Mustang clutch disc.
Put one behing a built small block and it lived(s).
i used to drag race with a saginaw 4 speed and it lasted a few yeas before exploding it guts all over the driveway.
I am going to give it a try, it will only take an afternoon to swap back in the muncie if I toast it.

I will keep you posted
