Pump Seal/Converter Leak

Pump Seal/Converter Leak
Sorry if this isn't an intelligent question but I want to make sure. My TH350 has a front pump seal/converter leak. I originally budgeted to have the converter replaced but other things have come up and it now has to wait. Assuming I leave it a couple of months, does that do any damage to it with the leak? Assuming I drive it once or twice until the repair gets done, is that okay as well?

Fun71 is correct AND your question is intelligent. There is no need to apologize, feel free to ask any questions.
When the converter is replaced the front pump bushing and naturally the seal should be done. Have you chosen a converter stall speed? If you don't specify one you'll get whatever they have. Other forum members can advise you about the stall speed if you wish.
Good luck!!!

Other than the mess, as long as you don’t run the trans low on fluid the leak won’t hurt anything. I would think a transmission shop wouldn’t charge much to replace the bushing if you took the trans to the shop.
