Hurst super shifter

I have a 68 442 that was originally a factory manual transmission. I知 getting parts to swap back to a manual for it. One M20 trans I知 looking at comes with a hurst super shifter. Will this fit in the factory tunnel location without any modifications? Thanks!

On my 67 I had to cut away some of the original hump, the rods are straight and the shifter has a short stick and sits higher.

Sounds good. I値l probably just sell it and get a competition plus for it instead. Thanks for the input!

Just confirming, at least on a ‘70 floor pan, Super Shifter does require some cutting.

No pics but I also have the center console and it was center in the boot I also drilled the 442 shift handle to fit ,it's longer then the short hurst shifter handle but is still better then the stock shifter because of the shift rods being reinforced with the sleeves.
