Downshift Switch adjustment..

Does anyone know the downshift switch adjustment procedure? I know the switch is by the gas pedal but I can't find the procedure in the service manual.

Thanks.

I am just learning a bit about these cars but in other GM applications it is a function of the kick down cable (detente cable) from the carb to the trans. To make changes you adjust the cable length

If it's a T400, it should close at full throttle.

Since he said switch, I will assume TH400. If I remember correctly, you can pull the switch to the close position by hand, then let it quickly release. This will reset it, then the next time you push the pedal to the floor it will set itself to the proper position. Unfortunately there is no other adjustment for a TH400 kickdown, only works at WOT.
