Two Barrel/Four Barrel Intake

Is the stock intake manifold for a 1971/2 350 the same for two and four barrel carbs, or different manifolds for the application?

Going to be swapping a 350 with a two barrel into my new '70 and will be rebuilding a QJet for it later this year.

The intake are the same, only difference is between small and big block Olds because of deck height.

What does deck height have to do with carburation? He asked if 2 & 4bbl are the same not if SBO & BBO are the same. I don't understand your answer.

In fairness, given the obvious answer to the original question, I think his eyes saw one thing and his brain read something else. I'd be lying if I said I'd never done that.

Its ok, our members understand mistakes happen, especially when pain takes over the mind.
We have great members here that post corrections without bashing the poster that makes the error.
Cheers, have a good nap,
Eric

I see your point, Joe. The 2 bbl manifold has the thermostat housing on the right, while the 4-bbl has it on the left. Clear as day.

Well I'm screwed then. Both my intakes have the housing on the right.

AND I misplaced my left handed screwdriver.

Thought I had one I could lend you, but I checked, and it's metric.

That's fine. We use the metric system here in Canada.
