Olds 350 Exhaust cross over port in intake
I have a Edelbrock Olds Performer intake and Edelbrock Carb. with Electric choke.
Do I need the exhaust ports to remain open in the intake manifold or can I close them off?

If you are asking if the openings on the TOP of the intake on each side of the carb flange need to be closed off, then yes.
One is for the hot air choke and the other is for an EGR valve. The intake should come with a block-off plate for the EGR (mine did) but I don't know if it would have one for the hot air choke as well since I have the choke heater installed on mine.
