hi oldsguy
it is the original carb on a 1964 394ci.(not the needle type)
but it looks like the filter on a later model carb(mv4e) is the same.
chevy usses the long GF471filter
and buick,olds,pontiac usses filters thats half the lenght(i thought?)
but dont know the number.
