Looks like a '70 block. One of your sixes fell off your vin number. S/B 336679------.

Oops yes I did miss putting in a 6. 336679M231544
Could be a late 69?
Can you tell if it’s matching # engine to car by info I have?

I heard that the 3 means it is Oldsmobile (1 was Chevy, 2 was Pontiac). The 0 would mean that it's a 1970 block due to the last digit (if it were 9 it would be 69). The F means that that is the factory it was produced in (I would assume Flint, Michigan although not sure). The rest would be some of the VIN of the car it was in.

I heard that from YouTube. Anybody please correct me if I am wrong. Go on "Useful Entertainment" channel. Here's a link.

The last six numbers on the block must match the vin number. "F" is Fremont Cali.

Z is Fremont. The F is probably an E for Linden New Jersey.

Hmm, a 1970 "E" plant block in a 1969 "M" plant car.
Linden, NJ engine and Lansing, MI vehicle.

Not the original engine.

^^^THIS! No Oldsmobiles were built at the Flint plant in 1970.
