Just did the same thing on another thread - pull the belts off, and see if it's still there!

All the belts -run it just for a couple minutes.
If the noise goes away, spin your accessories by hand - the bad should be obvious!
In the other thread, it was the water pump.

screwdriver and put your ear to it. works about the same to get a general idea on where the noise is coming from... also some people use a piece of garden hose to see where the noise is generally coming from.

So i try listening it thru a hose. It seems like the noise is coming from the bottom if the car. Either exhaust leak, fly wheel , distributor or tc? I was told once long ago like 2 years ago that my fly wheel was making noise, is it possible?

doesnt sound like it but dont rule out spun bearing.... for exhaust leak you can CAREFULLY put your hands over the pipes and feel an exhaust leak. for the flywheel cant you hand crank the motor and look at it to see if the teeth look good? or again while running it you can look at it to see how it is spinning.

Okay.. the noise seems to be coming from the intake close to the distributor.

so i took my car to my mechanic last night. He seems to thinks its either the rocker arms need to be adjusted or the lifters. He will check it out on sunday!

Guess what!!
No adjustment on your rockers - or lifters!!

Replace the pair, if one is bad, and the stand which is for 2 rocker arms!!
If it was me, I'd do them all, as they're the same age and a wear component!!
16 rockers and 8 stands!! [and 2 VCG's]

Well , i flushed my engine, changed my oil and filter , added the riselone and the noise decreased a little but definetly still there. Ive seen videos and heard lots of noises on youtube, my noise is not that loud. Hopelly its the rocker arms that are loose and just need to be tighten. We'll see on sunday!
