Carburetor Replacement Question
Hello everyone, I am new to the site and have just acquired a 1971 Olds Cutlass Supreme. I am the 4th owner, the car has 94,000 original miles. The car is mostly stock (except for HEI) All original motor, tranny, body etc. My question is about the carb, currently a stock Q-Jet, on a 350 rocket. What is everyone's recommendations for replacing the carb, rebuild the Q-jet or replace with a holley, edelbrock etc. Should also mention it is a 3 speed auto tranny. Thanks in advance and I will post pics soon. Happy to be aboard!

Welcome!
Rebuild it.
A rebuild kit is about twenty bucks, the float another ten or so, if you need one.
A lot cheaper than getting a new carb.
The Q-Jet is a great carb, and if you haven't monkeyed around with your engine, the stock settings should be just right, with no need to change anything.
