1970 Delta 88 disc brake rotor needed
I was 40 miles from home on a Sunday in a very small town when my daily driver started running hot.
I pulled into a gas station for water. It was closed of course because its Sunday in a very small town. But the water hose was working and while I was adding water I saw that I had lost the fan belt for the water pump. Hmmm, small town, Sunday, every store closed.....an old black guy stopped in the 1964 Chevy pickup that he has been driving for 33 years and offered me a used belt that he had at home. Sure enough he had one that fit and really saved the day. I would like to do something for him. He needs a front brake rotor for his 70 Delta 88 and we cant find one. I was told these cars came with drum brakes but there was a disc brake option--don't know if its true. If you have a replacement rotor I'd like to hear from you Thanks |

Rotors for the late 60s and early 70s B bodies are near impossible to find. If you do a search on our website you will find people with similar problems. I don't know where you can get them.

thank you
Has anyone considered using spray-metal (powdered metal sprayed at hi temperature) and then turning them down? |

There's a boneyard outside of Los Angeles that has a couple of these cars. Where are you located?
number for the yard is: 909 877 6934

That might be worth looking into. However, you might want to make sure the company guarantees that they fit your application. It would suck to spend a bunch of money and then get a part that doesn't fit.
