455 Brackets, Pullys, etc.
I have a '73 455 out of a Delta 88 that will be going into another vehicle where brackets and fitting is not an issue. I am in need of brackets and accessories that are missing. I only have a single bracket for the ps and for the alternator. I will only need an alternator and ps pump. I will be running electric fans so no fan clutch is needed but I do need a pulley for the water pump.
It would be nice to go aftermarket with a billet set up but that is not the budget. Anyone have what I need? Suggestions to simplify? It does not have to fit the '73 and simple is better. The picture is where I am currently with it.

Looks like you have the long snout water pump for a/c.
Check you crank pulley for #399405 KC. It's mate for the W/P
should be a 399404 KF. I may have the steel a/c brackets if needed
and the short bracket for the P/S pump at the bottom to the 1st bolt in
the exhaust manifold, but no pulleys.

Thanks to you guys for offering help; it is much appreciated. I received a few missing parts last night from the shop I got the engine from. I now have both exhaust manifolds although I may need headers as the crossover tube may not work with my set up. I got the correct starter, WP pulley, fan and clutch as well as the correct alternator. Without running AC I believe I only need the bracket on the back of the PS pump and a lower bracket for the alternator unless that is one and the same. Of course, I am wondering about looking for a non-AC set up to see if that would simplify things; maybe two belts rather than three?

I don't want to start a MAW (might as well) but you might want to pull off the fuel pump and check the timing chain for slop. If sloppy nows the time to replace it. If you replace the timing chain and gears you might want to pull the oil pan and make sure the oil pump screen doesn't have neoprene from the timing gear teeth and/or other debris, just saying. That's how MAW starts. I'm doing a similar Ga headed 455 in a 1972 Supreme now. It just keeps snowballing but better now while it's easier to work on. Jmo.

Kennybill, Thank you for the advice. I appreciate all I can get as each brand seems to have those little things that are unique. This motor was supposedly freshened by the shop I bought it from a few thousand miles ago. While they have a good reputation, that doesn't mean they are experts at everything so I do plan to check out the timing chain/gear, take a look at the bottom end and at the top under the valve covers. Hopefully I can confirm what I was told and if not...maybe save a little more $ and do a complete rebuild with mild performance work.

Your alt. bracketry set-up is different from mine. Mine uses the H bracket. I may have the lower bracket for what you have but I'm not sure what it looks like. I also checked and could not find an extra short brace for the p/s pump. You may check with oldspackrat, aka, Scott. He has a lot of parts. or John, 2blu442.
