OK its time for me to find this Unicorn.

I need a speedo cable for my 1966 Ninety Eight LS. W/O CRUISE CONTROL

I can find cables for cars with cruise control all day long. If anyone has a parts car with a good cable let me know. I believe cables from all 1965 - 1970 full size cars will work.

Also if you have any other ideas on how I can skin this cat please let me know.

What is the length of your cable?

I have one from a 66 98 ragtop.

I haven't measured it but as long as the car didn't have cruise control and its a one piece cable from the LF wheel to the cluster thats the cable I need.

I haven't replaced a speedo cable in a long time. AC used to make a universal cable that you cut to length and then put a little plastic piece on the top where it goes in the speedo. If you need the housing, that is another story. If you just need a cable, they should still be available.
