Are you aware that the OEM gear sets use two different carriers?

Are you wanting gears for an original carrier or a new carrier?

I have the gear set you need 3.23 gm gear set . Need it gone asap I got sent the wrong one and I don't think the seller is working on finding the correct gear set for me fast enough lol. Not his problem things happen but this might work out for both of us. I was told for the gm 8.5 corporate a 2.56 and higher carrier would work for the gears I was planning on installing but it had dumpy 2.41 's

Just to be clear are you positive that your gear set is for Type O & not for Corporate 10 bolt?. What is the part # on the crown gear? They do not interchange.

I did check that's how I founf out and it did not fit my 8.5 carrier. The splines on the pinion where correct. The gear set is at the shop but I spent some time looking into it. I belive o type is 27 spine pinion which is what I got sent to me and I took out a 31 spline pinion which is correct for the corporate 8.5
